Professor Lord Winston Named Keynote Speaker at Teaching Judaism Conference

Lord Winston has been selected to speak at a brand new conference.  Winston is the keynote speaker at the Teaching Judaism Conference on February 22nd in London.

The event is for teachers of GCSE Religious Studies Judaism.  In addition to Winston's keynote, it will feature Jewish charities and a special history exhibit.  

Registration comes out to a little more than $217.  The day begins at 10 a.m. and lunch and refreshments are included.  

Winston has had a diverse career in education, media and science.  In the medical field, he pioneered gynecological techniques for surgery and has worked to refine fertility treatments for many years. 

Many developed a familiarity with Winston through his hosting of several BBC programs, including Making Babies and the BAFTA award-winning documentary "The Human Body".  He is also is a Labour Party member in the House of Lords and previously chaired the Select Committee on Science and Technology. 

Winston holds many current and emeritus university positions and 23 honorary doctorates.  Most notably, he is a Professor of Science and Society at the Imperial College of London and also Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at the school.
