Ted Forrest is a professional poker player best known for his role in the World Series of Poker. His career took off in 1993 when he won three bracelets at the World Series of Poker Main Event.
After the mid-1990s, Forrest turned his attention full time to cash games. He made a successful return in 2004 by winning 2 bracelets at the WSOP. Since then he has moved his focus from seven card stud to Texas Hold 'Em. He won a championship on the Professional Poker Tour and has reached 3 final tables on the World Poker Tour.
Forrest is generally regarded as one of the best Stud players in the world. He made it to the quarterfinal stage in the second season of the Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament.
In March 2006, Forrest won the annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship, winning $500,000 for the first prize. As of today, his total live tournament winnings exceed $3,500,000.
