Kelsey Grammer is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, producer, director, writer, singer and activist.

Grammer is known for his two-decade portrayal of psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane on the NBC sitcoms Cheers and Frasier. He has won five Emmy Awards and three Golden Globes, and has also worked as a television producer, director, writer and as a voice artist on The Simpsons as Sideshow Bob.

Grammer made his first TV debut on the NBC soap "Another World".  However, his big break came when he was cast as the psychiatrist fiancé of Diane Chambers on the hit television sitcom comedy "Cheers". His character was only meant to be a temporary six-episode appearance, but instead it turned into a career that would span nearly two decades. "Cheers" last season ended in 1993 and Kelsey Grammer was chosen to star in the spin-off of the sitcom. 

The show was "Fraiser" and it was a success and a huge ratings winner. "Frasier" won five consecutive Best Comedy Series Emmy Awards and Kelsey took home four Emmy awards and two Golden Globe trophies for best actor.

Kelsey Grammer also executive produced the popular sitcom "Girlfriends" and he played a small role in the film "15 Minutes", starring Robert De Niro.  However, it is "Frasier" for which Grammer is most beloved.  The series finally came to an end in 2004.

Grammer has had numerous guest appearances on many television series includeing a role on "The Simpsons" as Sideshow Bob.
