C & C Music Factory is a production team involving Robert Clivillés and David Cole. They reached number 1 in the US and number 3 in the UK in 1990 with "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" featuring Freedom Williams.  C & C Music Factory enjoyed six further UK Top 40 hits during 1991 and 1992, including a cover of U2"s "Pride (In The Name Of Love)" and the top 10 hit "Things That Make You Go Hmmmm ..." which was a Top 5 hit in the US  "Here We Go" was number a US number 3 hit.

Clivillés and Cole's first remix had been Natalie Cole's "Pink Cadillac" which broke into the US and UK Top 5 in 1988.  C & C Music Factory put together remixes of songs by Seduction, Sandee and Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam. Clivillés and Cole also contributed to the soundtrack of one of the biggest movies of the 90s, "The Bodyguard".

C & C Music Factory released their second album in 1994, but David Cole died shortly after of spinal meningitis.  Clivillés continued his career with vocalist Vic Black and the female trio A.S.K. M.E., releasing a self-titled set for MCA Records.
