Northwestern Announces Late Show Host Stephen Colbert as Host for CommFest

Northwestern University is lucky to count The Late Show host Stephen Colbert among their alumni base. They are bringing him back to campus to host an event during CommFest 2018. 

CommFest is an annual reunion for School of Communication graduates that will be held April 20-21. Colbert will host the final event of the weekend, "A Starry Night." 

The evening's festivities will be hosted in Ryan Fieldhouse and feature prominent alumni from the entertainment industry. Tickets range in price from $100-$1,500. 

Colbert began hosting The Late Show in 2015. He became well-known to audiences as the host of Comedy Central's The Colbert Report from 2005-14. 

Colbert had his first big break on the network as a correspondent for The Daily Show. He first performed professionally as an understudy to Steve Carell at Second City Chicago. 

Colbert is the author of the number one New York Times bestselling book, "I Am America (And So Can You!)." He is the recipient of nine Primetime Emmy Awards, two Grammy Awards and two Peabody Awards.
