Rick Rigsby has been motivating others his entire professional career. He took his unique message to Lehman Catholic High School's Schlater Gymnasium on January 27th as the keynote speaker at the 40th annual Foundation Dinner.

The event recognized individuals who have given back to the high school over the years. Rigsby talked about some of the common-sense wisdom he learned from his father.

There were over 350 people in attendance to listen to Rigsby's message of achievement. Many of the insights he shared can be found in his bestselling book, Lessons from a Third Grade Dropout

As the President and CEO of Rick Rigsby Communications, Rigsby has spoken to audiences all around the world. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies, academic communities and service organizations.

Rigsby was originally an award-winning television journalist and then spent two decades as a college professor. He spent extensive time at Texas A&M University and was twice named an outstanding professor in the school's College of Liberal Arts.

While at A&M, Rigsby was a character coach and chaplain for the Aggies football team. That background in sports still surfaces to this day as a regular speaker for organizations like the NFL and PGA.
