IBM CEO Ginni Rometty Keynotes Sibos Big Issues Debate

One of America's most successful business leaders is keynoting an event in Geneva later this month. IBM CEO Ginni Rometty will speak at the Sibos Big Issues Debate that runs September 26-29.
Rometty's presentation will take place on September 28th. She will talk about the newest developments in cognitive computing and digital intelligence.
After the keynote, Rometty will also be involved in a discussion with UBS Group CEO Sergio Ermotti. The pair will address the financial future of new technology.
Rometty rose to the position Chairman, President and CEO of IBM in 2012, becoming the first woman in company history to hold that distinction. She first joined IBM as a systems engineer in 1981.
Over the years, Rometty has held several high-ranking positions in the company. She was essential in ushering IBM towards the cloud computing and analytics businesses.
For ten straight years, Rometty has been named to Fortune's list of "50 Most Powerful Women in Business". She holds lofty positions outside of IBM as well, including a spot on the Council on Foreign Relations and on the Board of Trustees at her alma mater, Northwestern.
