Friday marks the date 43 years ago when the U.S. Supreme Court handed down the Roe v. Wade decision.  There will be a national March on Life in Washington D.C. tomorrow, but several events have already been held around the country to give voice to the pro-life movement.

Duck Dynasty stars Alan and Lisa Robertson highlighted one such event in Raleigh, North Carolina.  The Robertsons spoke at a pro-life breakfast and march in the city that was attended by hundreds.

The event was organized by the North Carolina Right to Life organization.  This was a follow-up appearance for the Robertson's who also spoke at the National Right to Life Convention last summer.

Just last week, season nine of Duck Dynasty debuted on A&E.  Alan and Lisa joined the show as main stars in season seven after making a season four guest appearance.

The Robertsons shared more exciting news this month with the release of their book, "A New Season: A Robertson Family Love Story of Brokeness and Redemption".  They address many difficult topics in the book including the abortion Lisa had when she was 16 and the subsequent regret that stemmed from it.

Prior to appearing regularly on the show, Alan had left the Duck Commander business to serve as a senior pastor in West Monroe, Louisiana.  He returned to the company in 2012 and he and wife both work in public relations.
