Celebrity Chef Tiffany Derry Speaks at Diabetes Education Event Thursday

While celebrity chef Tiffany Derry is known for her delicious creations, she is also a health conscious individual. She is currently on a nationwide tour with Novo Nordisk promoting healthy lifestyles and portion control.

Tomorrow, Derry will be in Merrill, Wisconsin to participate in a diabetes education event. The educational session runs from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Eagle's Club and is being put on by Marshfield Clinic. 

Those who attend will learn how to manage and prevent diabetes, especially during the holidays. Derry will prepare a meal for everyone who shows up. 

On Season 7 of Bravo's "Top Chef", Derry gained national notoreity. She finished in the top four of the competition, was voted fan favorite and asked back for "Top Chef: All-Stars."

Following her Top Chef success, Derry also made appearances on the Bravo shows, "Bar Rescue" and "Cutthroat Kitchen." She also opened the Dallas restaurant Private|Social. 

Currently, Derry focuses on her company, Tiffany Derry Concepts. She is a national spokesperson for the Art Institute's Culinary Arts Program.
