Jasmin Singer is one of the best-known animal activists in the world today. Singer shared some of her experiences in that world with her memoir "Always Too Much and Never Enough".
This past Friday, Singer signed copies of her book at Compassion Over Killing in Tacoma Park, Maryland. The animal advocacy organization has been around for 21 years.
Singer started her signing at 6:30 p.m. It was certainly a meeting of many who do great work for the animal community.
Singer runs the non-profit Our Hen House. She is also married to an animal law professor Mariann Sullivan who she operates the charity with.
Since 2010, Singer has hosted an Our Hen House podcast. The podcast has twice been a Webby Award Nominee and received that honor recently in 2015.
She speaks on issues of activism and veganism across the country. VegNews Magazine named her one of "20 Under 30 Standout Stars of the Animal Rights Movement".
