Actor Ernie Hudson Keynotes California Teachers Summit

On July 29th, teachers from around California came together for an important event. At over 40 locations around the state, the Better Together: California Teachers Summit took place.
One of the keynote speakers at all the meetings via telecast was actor Ernie Hudson. He stressed the need for all students to have access to quality education.
It was a free event that teachers could sign up for. In addition to Hudson's keynote, there were a variety of speakers and discussions specific to each location.
Hudson has had a lengthy acting career that has now spanned four decades. His breakout role came as Winston Zeddemore in the 1984 film, "Ghostbusters".
Hudson kept a healthy schedule appearing in a variety of films and television shows before his next big role came in the cult classic "The Crow". His most prominent TV role came in the groundbreaking "Oz" on HBO.
Most recently, Hudson made an appearance in the big screen revival of Ghostbusters. He will also be involved in the upcoming reboot of the early 1990's TV drama, "Twin Peaks".
