Tracey Ullman is best known for her TV series, "The Tracey Ullman Show" which aired on Fox from 1987 to 1990.

She earned her first show business acclaim in "Four in a Million" for which she won a London Critics Award. Despite Ullman's role in "Girls on Top", it was BBC's popular Saturday night show "Three of a Kind" that gave her the first shot at creating characters, making her a household name throughout England. She also recorded a top-selling album, "You Broke My Heart in Seventeen Places", and made her big screen debut in the Paul McCartney's "Give My Regards to Broad Street". Ullman's casting for the screen adaptation of David Hare's play "Plenty" led her to being recognized on this side of the world. 

After her first film in the U.S., Ullman landed a supporting role in the comedy thriller "Jumpin' Jack Flash" followed by her character in the romantic comedy "I Love You to Death". She also showed up in "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" as well as in art-house hit "Household Saints". Eventually Ullman partnered up with James L. Brooks to direct the musical "I'll Do Anything" in 1994. She appeared among the all-star cast of "Pr"t-a-Porter" and joined the ensemble for Woody Allen's "Bullets Over Broadway". Later, Ullman and Allen re-teamed in charmer "Small Time Crooks". In 2004, Ullman appeared in "A Dirty Shame"

Ullman's acting career was also highly involved in Television. She performed in several HBO comedy specials such as "Tracey Ullman: Takes on New York", "A Class Act", and  "Tracey Takes On..." Ullman also experimented with a talk show format in 2001; "Visible Panty Lines."
