Born on April 20, 1946, Tommy Hutton served as a former Major League Baseball player but he started working for the Miami Marlins baseball broadcasts in the present times since the season 1997 for the position of a color analyst both in the FSN Florida and Sun Sports. He was working with other broadcaster from 1997 to 2000, ESPN personalities in 2001, Cubs broadcaster in 2002 to 2004, and with a play-by-play man in 2005. In 2005, he was on MLB on Fox during the times when the team Miami Marlins was playing on Fox sports. He was also broadcasting with ESPN on baseball games as well as with the New York Yankees, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Montreal Expos. Before the said events took place, Hutton was a baseball player and played at some of the major leagues. These include the Los Angeles Dodgers in the year 1966 and 1969, the Philadelphia Phillies from 1972 to 1977. He was also with the Toronto Blue Jays in 1978 and the Montreal Expos in the latter part of the year. When he was released by the Montreal Expos, he turned his career dugout (from major league baseball player into the broadcasting booth). Tommy became well known in his Phillies career for being successful against the Hall of Famer of the New York Mets because of his excellent glove work at first base. He was also a competitor in the Boston Marathon.
