He was named Vice President/Manager of Professional Education and Management Development at Paine Webber.
Now, an in-demand independent consultant and keynote speaker for scores of top Fortune 500 sales producers, corporate executives and high-level management, Sarano has addressed audiences at American Express, Citibank, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Merrill Lynch, to name just a few.
In addition to his accomplished speaking career, Sarano has founded two companies, The Center for Excellence and TheCoachingProgram.com, which provide coaching and corporate training to the nation's top executives. Sarano has trained over 250,000 people nationally.
But Sarano's life work is much more than transforming the lives of busy professionals. Ever since his youth when he spent a summer as a supervisor to at-risk youths in housing cleaning projects for New York City, Sarano has worked in the service of others. Sarano is an advisor and frequent volunteer in support of his father's parish, Gethsemane Baptist Church in Brooklyn. He has been a frequent contributor to The American Society of Training and Development and was a requested coach for the Clinton Administration's White House Fellows, a prestigious program which included Colin Powell.
Now with his latest effort, The Game - Win Your Life in 90 Days, Sarano is prepared to make his biggest contribution to date. Not only will the book put the amazing technology in personal growth he brought to the Fortune 500 companies in the hands of every American, it will also act as a vehicle to increase awareness of one of the greatest problems this country faces - illiteracy. With the help of the National Alliance of Urban Literacy Coalitions, Sarano will provide a stage for local literacy groups across the country during his 28-city book tour. In addition, a portion of Sarano's personal proceeds from The Game will be donated to the National Alliance of Urban Literacy Coalitions and other literacy programs.
