Quddus, is a Canadian television personality and actor, best known as the host of MTV's Total Request Live and ABC's singing competition show Duets.
As a teenager, Quddus became a volunteer coach, and organizer, of a midnight basketball program for street youth, at the YMCA. At the same time, his passion for music took him to the turntables as "DJ Prophet," in the local hip-hop scene, and he served as co-host and DJ of the 'Breakdown' show on the University of Ottawa's CHUO 89.1FM radio station.
Quddus lends his time to the non-profit organization Generosity Water, volunteers at "A Place Called Home" in South Los Angeles, and went to Haiti on an aid mission.
