Mike is honored by the State of Utah as one of its Top 50 Athletes of the Century, and he is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City where he had the privilege of running in the torch relay in St. George, UT and also a placard bearer during the Opening Ceremonies.
