Mark Fox was born January 13, 1969 and is the current head men's basketball coach at the University of Georgia.[1] He was previously the head coach for the University of Nevada, named to that position on June 1, 2004, just days after former Nevada coach Trent Johnson had resigned to become the head coach at Stanford.

In 2011, Fox's second season, the Bulldogs made improvements. The 2011 team won 21 games, finished 3rd in the SEC East and made it to the NCAA tournament for first time since 2008. In 2012, the Bulldogs posted another sub-.500 record and finished near the bottom of the SEC with a 5-11 record. To start the 2012-2013 season, Mark Fox has lost to both Youngstown State and Southern Miss, while narrowly edging Jacksonville. While at Georgia, Fox has placed three players in the NBA Travis Leslie, Trey Thompkins and 8th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
