Keith Moreland is a former outfielder, catcher and infielder in Major League Baseball who played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and San Diego Padres. He also served as the Cubs' color analyst on WGN-AM and the Cubs Radio Network.

Moreland was a seventh round draft pick of the Phillies in 1975, making his debut with the Phillies in 1978. He played 12 years in Major League Baseball with a career batting average of .279 with 121 home runs and 674 RBIs. He was a member of the 1980 World Series Champion Philadelpiha Phillies and a member of the 1984 NL East champion Chicago Cubs.

Thanks to his long playing career and his success at college at the University of Texas, he was inducted into the Longhorn Hall of Honor. He was also named to the College World Series All-Decade Team for the 1970s. He has the second most hits career hits in College World Series history, having made three appearances with Texas in the early 1970s. 

After his playing career concluded he spent some time as a color analyst for Texas Longhorns football and baseball. He eventually began filling in for Cubs broadcasts on WGN-TV, WCIU and Comcast SportsNet Chicago before taking over for Ron Santo on WGN-AM and the Cubs Radio Network in 2011. He stepped away from the position in 2013 to spend more time with his family.
