Juliette Brindak, 25, is a co-founder and partner of Miss O & Friends, a lifestyle socialization brand for tween girls, primarily ages 8-14. At age ten, Juliette tapped into her artistic side, drawing what she referred to as “cool girls.” Along with the help of her sister (Olivia who is the real Miss O), mom (Hermine and creative director of Miss O & Friends) and other girls, after five years of just play, Miss O & Friends was formed — the only brand truly created “by girls…for girls.” The company grew organically over the years and with the help and support of her parents Paul and Hermine, it officially launched in April 2005. In 2006, The Proctor and Gamble Company became Miss O & Friends’ largest investor. Juliette continued working on Miss O & Friends while attending college at Washington University in St. Louis (BA Anthropology and Public Health 2011). Currently, Miss O & Friends is the most popular “Girls Only” website with over 5 million monthly unique visitors.

In both June 2010 and June 2011, Juliette was invited to the Youth International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, Russia. Along with CEOs, politicians, and intellectual leaders from all over the world, Juliette participated in this international business dialogue based on, her “ability to launch and implement projects that produce value for society, as well as her “unwavering belief in constant self-development and freedom coupled with responsibility.”

In November of 2010, Juliette was a global finalist in the Global Student Entrepreneur Award, sponsored by the Entrepreneur Organization and hosted by The Kauffman Foundation. The GSEA’s goals are to inspire students to adopt entrepreneurial endeavors by bringing global visibility to student business owners whose companies are innovative, profitable, socially responsible, and adhere to high ethical standards. The GSEA is a catalyst that inspires students and young people to start and grow entrepreneurial ventures. The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards are a program of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). The GSEA operates as an international series of competitions for student entrepreneurs who are attending a recognized high school, college or university, who own a for-profit business, are principally responsible for its operation, and have been generating revenue for a minimum of six consecutive months. In both 2011 and 2012, Juliette was a semi-finalist round judge for the GSEA, which took place at the New York Stock Exchange.
