Ersan İlyasova was born May 15, 1987 in Eskişehir, Turkey and is a Turkish professional basketball player who currently plays for the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks. He is 6'10" (2.08 m) in height.
İlyasova was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round (36th overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft and signed a two-year contract with them on August 23, 2005. İlyasova did not play in an NBA game during the 2005-06 season. He was instead assigned to the Bucks' affiliated D-League team, the Tulsa 66ers, where he played 46 games and averaged 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
İlyasova made his NBA debut on November 1, 2006 as a member of the Bucks. At the end of the season, İlyasova left the Bucks to play for FC Barcelona in the Liga ACB and Euroleague.
