Eric Adelson is a graduate of Harvard and Columbia Journalism School. He began his career at ESPN The Magazine in 1998, when the publication launched. He has done several television pieces for Outside The Lines. He has also written for Philadelphia Magazine and Yahoo! Magazine. Adelson’s work has been listed in Best American Sports Writing, and in 2004 he was given a national media award for his coverage of athletes coping with mental illness. He has written several feature stories on Michelle Wie for ESPN the Magazine, including the magazine’s Fifth Anniversary cover story on how Wie is changing the sports world. He is the author of the forthcoming biography of Michelle Wie.
