With over twenty-five years’ experience, Elad and Gabe have re-energized the hospitality industry by creating unique and eclectic food and beverage programs for bars, restaurants, and hotels around the world. As co-founders and operating partners of Bar Lab, the duo launched their first bar, Broken Shaker Miami, in 2012 - followed by the Broken Shaker Chicago and Los Angles, 27 Restaurant, and The Anderson. Each venue being engineered to offer a one-of-a-kind experience that transports each guest to a different time and place. Elad and Gabe’s claim to fame started with their award-winning handcrafted cocktails; which lead them to open Miami’s first pop-up bar in 2012, the Broken Shaker at the Freehand Miami. The bar was an immediate success, and what was supposed to be only a 30-day pop-up, resulted in a partnership with the Sydell Group, giving the Broken Shaker a permanent home. In addition to consulting, Bar Lab continues to expand its brand portfolio by adding 27 Restaurant and Broken Shaker Chicago in 2015. 2016 has included the expansion of the Broken Shaker franchise with its 3rd location in Los Angeles, and The Anderson, another unique bar and out-of-the-box concept in Miami. Bar Lab has since been awarded numerous professional accolades and honors, including: Twice named James Beard finalist for “Outstanding Bar Program”; ranking on the ‘World's 50 Best Bars’ list at #14, and in 2015 they won the coveted ‘Spirited Award’ at Tales of the Cocktail for ‘Best American Hotel Bar.’
