Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade born February 26, 1988, is a professional boxer from the United States and a former World Boxing Organization Light Middleweight champion. As an amateur, he was a two time national golden gloves champion and he won the world championships in 2007. Demetrius represented the United States in the 2008 Olympics where, after overcoming two tough opponents, he suffered a surprising defeat in the quarterfinals. Demetrius made his professional debut on October 23, 2008. He currently remains undefeated.
Andrade won the United States Amateur Boxing Championship in 2005, and repeated it in 2006 when he also won the National Golden Gloves. He again won the National Golden Gloves in 2007, but did not compete in the U.S. Amateurs that year due to injury.
Demetrius Andrade became a professional boxer and had his first pro fight in October 2008.
