David Morse has long been recognized as an actor of great talent and versatility in film, television and theater. He recently completed his latest film project, the highly anticipated Peter Landesman NFL drama “Concussion,” opposite Will Smith and Alec Baldwin. Additional motion pictures Morse has starred in include major blockbusters such as Marc Forster’s “World War Z,” Kathryn Bigelow's Oscar®-winning “The Hurt Locker,” and Frank Darabont's “The Green Mile.” Fans also will remember Morse’s breakout feature debut in Richard Donner's acclaimed drama, “Inside Moves.”

For television, Morse was seen most recently on the critically acclaimed and Emmy®-nominated HBO series “Treme,” created by Emmy Award winner David Simon. He also has received Emmy nominations for his work as 'George Washington' in the multiple award-winning HBO mini-series “John Adams,” starring Paul Giamatti; and for playing the rival to Hugh Laurie's character on “House M.D.” Morse is best known for his role as ‘Dr. Jack "Boomer" Morrison’ in the Emmy-winning ensemble drama, “St. Elsewhere.”

On stage, Morse most recently starred in the Roundabout Theatre’s presentation of “The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin.” Prior to this, Morse starred in the Seattle Repertory Theatre world premiere presentation of "Redwood Curtain." He made his Broadway debut in the role of ‘Father Barry’ in the theater adaptation of "On the Waterfront," and triumphantly returned to the Off-Broadway stage in Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, "How I Learned to Drive," for which Morse won the Drama League Award, the Lucille Lortel Award, the Drama Desk Award and the Obie Award. Morse was most recently seen on the Broadway stage in the Tony® nominated play, “The Seafarer,” directed by Conor McPherson.
