Curtis Stone was born November 4, 1975 and is an Australian celebrity chef, author and television personality.

Curtis returned briefly to Australia to make the cooking showtravelogue Surfing the Menu (on ABC TV) with another chef, Ben ODonoghue. A second series of the show ran for longer than the first and was more successful.

No stranger to television, Curtis has appeared in a number of cooking programs in the UK, including Dinner in a Box, Good Food Live and Saturday Kitchen. He also hosted the first series of My Restaurant Rules; however, he was replaced by Ian Dickson for the second series. Stone starred for two seasons in the now canceled Take Home Chef on TLC in the United States. He is, at the same time, the main chef, the author, and the host of the new series.

Curtis has appeared twice on NBCs Today, the second appearance featured him visiting the home of host Meredith Vieira to teach her how to cook as her children had complained that she did not know how to. Curtis is scheduled to appear yet again for his third appearance on the show in the coming months in a feature on grilling and BBQ. He has also recently appeared on Martha Stewarts show Martha also on NBC, preparing two of his signature dishes. He also appeared on Stacy Londons talk show Fashionably Late.

On 13 May, 2009, Stone appeared as special guest chef on Network Tens Masterchef and again on the 19th. He also appeared on the shows finale, which aired on July 19. He also appeared on the second week of The Biggest Losers season 8 in the US.

Curtis was also chosen by Donald Trump to compete in The Celebrity Apprentice 3, which airs in Spring 2010. This will be the third installment to The Celebrity version of The Apprentice.
