Former Florida Gator standout, Andrew DeClercq was born February 1, 1973 in Detroit, Michigan. Along with former Magic teammate Keith Tower, he is actively involved in a church he started in Orlando called HighPoint, located in Ocoee, Florida.
DeClercq was drafted with the 34th overall pick in the 1995 NBA Draft (5th pick of the 2nd round) following a career at the University of Florida, and began his professional career with the Golden State Warriors. He has gone on to play for the Boston Celtics, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic, averaging 4.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
