Upgrade, Inc. CEO Renaud Laplanche is bringing his entrepreneurial spirit to LendItFintech USA. He will share his experiences as a leader in the fintech industry. 

LendItFintech USA takes place April 9-11 at Moscone West in San Francisco, California. Laplanche will discuss his vision for Online Lending 2.0 and how recent innovations have improved the nature of online lending.

Laplanche is perhaps best known for founding America's leading online marketplace for borrowers and investors, The Lending Club, in 2004. He now presides over Upgrade, a company he founded in 2016. 

Prior to becoming a pioneer in fintech, Laplanche served as an attorney with the New York law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. He was featured on Bloomberg Markets' 2015 Most Influential List. 

Laplanche is also an avid sailor who holds two world speed sailing records. He has an MBA and HEC from the London Business School and a JD from Montpellier University.
