Top Chef Masters winner Floyd Cardoz hosted a special event earlier this month in Chicago. He made an appearance at Private Dining by Sepia for a dinner and book signing on April 14th.
Cardoz was in town promoting his new cookbook, "Floyd Cardoz: Flavorwalla". The book was originally released on April 4th.
For $125, attendees received a free copy of the book. Cardoz signed it while a four-course dinner was prepared from the cookbook for guests.
Cardoz won season three of Top Chef Masters. He is well-known as the chef behind Indian fine-dining restaurant Tabla, that ran for 13 years in New York City.
This summer, his first solo venture, Paowalla, will open in SoHo. The restaurant will feature small plate Indian cuisine that has a local spin.
In addition to his work stateside, Cardoz has been involved with multiple restaurant projects in India. He uses his celebrity chef platform to give back as well and he is the founder of the Young Scientist Foundation.
