Top Chef Host Padma Lakshmi Hosts Book Signing and Discussion in Bay Area

One of the hottest names in food television is making an appearance next month in the Bay Area. Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi will discuss her memoir, "Love, Loss, and What We Ate" on March 16th at SanDisk in Milpitas, California.
The event runs from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and it is being sponsored by Watermark, a leading community for women executives and entrepreneurs in the San Francisco area. Lakshmi will sign copies of the book in addition to the talk.
All tickets purchased for the event come with a copy of the book. Prices range from $29 for Watermark Prestige Members to $49 for non-members.
Lakshmi's memoir is due out on International Women's Day March 8th. It tells the story of her unlikely journey as an immigrant to the top of the American TV landscape.
Since 2006, Lakshmi has been the host of Top Chef and she also serves as executive producer. She garnered an Emmy nomination in the Oustanding Host for a Reality of Reality-Competition program in 2009.
Top Chef won an Emmy with Lakshmi as host in 2010 for Oustanding Reality-Competition Program. Prior to her run on the show, she hosted several other programs both in the U.S. and Italy.
Prior to the release of her memoir, Lakshmi has published two cookbooks. Before transitioning to TV, she worked successfully as a model for the biggest brands in the world.
