Teen Entrepreneur Maya Penn Holds Atlanta Book Signing

Most people do not accomplish in an entire life what teen entrepreneur Maya Penn has been able to do in her 16 years.  This Saturday, she held a signing of her brand new book in Atlanta.

Penn autographed copies of, "You Got This! Unleash Your Awesomeness, Find Your Path, and Change Your World", at a local Barnes & Noble.  The book signing began at 5 p.m.

It is Penn's hope that the book inspires teens and young adults to discover passions.  You Got This! was first released in April. 

In 2008, Penn founded Maya's Ideas, a company that creates eco-friendly clothing and accessories.  Maya's Ideas also donates ten to 20 percent of the profits to various charities.  

Penn has already given three TED Talks, with her TEDWomen Talk generating over 1.2 million views. The roots of her entrepreneurial spirit may be traced to when she was four. 

It was then that Penn's father showed her how to dismantle and rebuild a computer.  She has gone on to create her own website and animated films in addition to her company.
