The stars turned out for supermodel Naomi Campbell's book signing.  She held the signing Friday in Beverly Hills at the Taschen bookstore.

Some of the more notable celebrities that were there to support Campbell included Kim Kardashian and Lenny Kravitz.  The book is titled "Naomi" and it chronicles her lengthy career in the spotlight.

The oversized two-volume coffee table book features various photos and magazine covers that are significant to Campbell.  It even features a unique cover that shows a bust crafted in her likeness.

Campbell was one of just six models of her era to gain supermodel status.  She was known as a trailblazer, being the first African-American model to appear on the cover of French Vogue.

In 1987, she became the first black woman in over 20 years to grace the cover of British Vogue.  Throughout the late 1980's and early 1990's, Campbell walked the catwalk for top designers and posed for the biggest photographers in the world.

Even today, Campbell remains a popular cover girl and front person for various fashion campaigns.  She is also well-regarded for her charity work, most notably through the Fashion for Relief non-profit she founded in 2005.
