Reality TV Star Kristin Cavallari Launches Nationwide Book Tour in March

Through runs on "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills", Kristin Cavallari has gained a wide audience of fans. In March, Cavallari will release her first book, "Balancing in Heels: My Journey to Health, Happiness and Making it all Work" in March.

As part of the book release, Cavallari will also hit the road for a multi-city book tour.  The tour begins March 15th in Huntington, New York and continues through Lake Forest, Illinois, Naperville, Illinois, Laguna Beach, California, and Los Angeles.

Attendees at each of the events can meet Cavallari and get a signed copy of the book.  Balancing in Heels tells the story of her life and how she navigates the obstacles thrown her way.

Cavallari got her first break into the public eye after being cast on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County in 2004.  She moved to LA to pursue an acting career two years later and was cast in the spin-off series The Hills in 2009.  

There has been a host of other reality programs that have featured Cavallari.  She competed on Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars and appeared as a guest judge on Season 17 of America's Next Top Model.

Cavallari has acted on shows like "CSI:NY" and "The League".  She is active in causes related to AIDS research funding and vaccine development.
