R&B Singer Bobby Brown Releases Memoir in June

There have certainly been a full share of ups and downs in the life and career of R&B singer Bobby Brown.  Brown is chronicling it all in his upcoming memoir "Every Little Step". 

Dey Street Books is publishing Brown's work and it will be released in June.  On June 10th, he will also sit down on 20/20 with Robin Roberts and talk about his life in an effort to promote the book.

Brown will certainly share stories from his career and give a window into what his future might hold.  He will also address the relationship he had with the late legendary singer Whitney Houston.  

Brown arose on the scene with the group New Edition in the early 1980's.  When he went out on his own as a solo artist was really when his stardom exploded however. 

His second solo album "Don't Be Cruel" launched five Billboard Hot 100 top ten hits in 1988.  One of the singles, "Every Little Step", netted Brown the Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in 1990.  

In total, Brown has released eight albums as a solo artist.  He is credited with being one of the pioneers of the fusion music genre "new jack swing" as well.
