Overhaulin Star Chip Foose Makes Appearance on Behalf of BASF Canada

Carlson Body Shop and BASF Canada have teamed to make a special night in Alberta, Canada for collision repair industry professionals.  Overhaulin' star Chip Foose makes an appearance at the Compass Training Centre on Friday.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Foose, take a picture, and watch him sketch car designs.  This event is going on in conjunction with the Pedal Car Challenge and World of Wheels Show.

Foose will be available to the public at the show, but the evening event is limited to those in the industry.  That Saturday, he will also have an autograph signing at the show.  

Overhaulin' has been on the air with two separate stints for nine seasons.  In the series, Foose comes up with a new design for people's old, tired classic vehicles.  

Foose has been working on cars since he was seven years old.  He started off in the profession working for several design companies before founding Foose Design in 1998.

In 1997, Foose became the youngest person ever inducted into the Hot Rod Hall of Fame.  Cars he has designed have won the Most Beautiful Roadster Award seven times.
