Orange is the New Black Star Laura Prepon Holds Book SIgning in Santa Monica

Orange is the New Black may be the hottest series running today and that certainly makes one of the show's stars, Laura Prepon, popular everywhere she goes.  Next Saturday, Prepon will hold a book signing in Santa Monica, California at Whole Foods Market. 

Together with integrative nutritionist Elizabeth Troy, Prepon wrote "The Stash Plan".  The book lays out a 21-day plan that combines the latest food science innovations with ancient dietary practices.

Both women will be on hand to sign copies of the book.  Fans are allowed to bring their own copies in addition to those who want to purchase them at the store. 

Prepon has played Alex Vause in the Netflix series OITNB since 2013.  That year, she won a Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Television Film.  

Prepon is also well known for her role as Donna Pinciotti in all eight seasons of the Fox sitcom "That '70s Show".  For her work on the show, Prepon was nominated for Teen Choice Awards in 1999 and 2002.  

Following her run on That '70s Show, Prepon appeared in various TV series such as "How I Met Your Mother", "Medium", and "House".  She grew up in New Jersey and studied at Total Theatre Lab in New York City.
