For a decade, "One Tree Hill" was a favorite television series among teens and young adults. With the show being set in Wilmington, North Carolina many in that city were true fanatics.
This past Friday, they got to interact with one of the show's former stars. James Lafferty showed up to make an appearance at a fundraiser for those affected by Hurricane Matthew.
As part of his role, Lafferty served as a guest bartender at Tavern Law 1832 and Bougie Nights. He also hosted an after party at Tavern Law.
From 2003-2012, Lafferty played Nathan Scott on the hit CW show. He received four Teen Choice Award nominations for his work on the series.
Lafferty got the opportunity to direct four episodes of One Tree Hill as well. More recently, he has tried his hand as a director on two episodes of the E! series "The Royals."
Lafferty originally broke into acting as a 12-year-old in 1997 with a voiceover role in the made-for-TV film "Annabelle's Wish." He has since appeared in several other TV shows and movies in addition to One Tree Hill.
