Jennifer Harman got the greatest honor a poker player can receive last month.  Harman became the 50th inductee into the Poker Hall of Fame.

The ceremony was held on an off night during the World Series of Poker at Binion’s in downtown Las Vegas.  The casino’s namesake, Benny Binion, was the founder of the WSOP Main Event and the Poker Hall of Fame.

Harman was able to celebrate her big night with her twin sons that turned nine years old the next day.  She delivered an off-the-cuff speech, thanking many of the people who helped get her to the top along the way.

Harman is one of just two women to win two WSOP bracelets in open events.  Her live tournament winnings amount to over $2.7 million.

While she has had success in tournament poker, most of her acclaim comes from involvement in high stake cash games.  She is the only woman who is a regular player in the Bellagio’s “Big Game” and is also a participant in “The Corporation”.

Harman has appeared on TV several times, including on GSN’s High Stakes Poker and NBC’s Poker After Dark.  She was also a star of Sin City Rules on TLC.
