Leagues of Bruce Springsteen fans have been anxiously anticipating the release of his autobiography.  Those supporters also have the opportunity to meet him on a nationwide book tour after the release of "Born to Run" on September 27th.

On release day, Springsteen will be signing in his hometown of Freehold, New Jersey.  On September 28th and September 29th, he will be in New York and Philadelphia respectively.

Starting October 1st, Springsteen begins a west coast swing that runs through Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland and San Francisco.  He will wrap the tour with an appearance at The New Yorker Festival on October 7th and The Harvard Coop on October 10th.

Simply known as "The Boss", Springsteen has sold over 120 million albums worldwide.  He has collected 20 Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes and an Academy Award in his career.

In the 1970's, Springsteen formed the E Street Band.  They struggled to gain commercial success for several years, but their third album, "Born to Run", peaked at third on the Billboard Top 200 and helped establish them.

Rolling Stone ranked Springsteen 23rd on their 2004 list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.  He is a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
