HGTV Host Scott McGillivray Makes Appearance at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show

This week, star of the HGTV hit show "Income Property" Scott McGillivray unveiled a new Built-In Line of Frigidaire Professional home appliances.  McGillivray participated in the reveal on Tuesday at the 2016 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas.

Some of the new appliances include ovens, cooktops, and refrigerators.  Frigidaire Professional was launched last year to provide consumers access to professional-grade kitchen equipment. 

The show ran through today at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  It also featured an opening keynote speech from comedian Jay Leno

McGillivray is now ten seasons into Income Property as the host and executive producer.  He has been a judge on the HGTV programs All American Handyman, Canada's Handyman Challenge and Flipping the Block as well.

For three straight years, McGillivray has won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Lifestyle Program or Series.  His first home improvement book, How to Add Value to your Home was published by HarperCollins Canada in 2014.

McGillivray began his career as a home renovator by buying his first rental property with student loans at the age of 21.  In 2004, he became a licensed contractor and holds an extensive real estate empire across the U.S. and Canada.
