Last week, actor David Duchovny was at home in New York City to kick off publicity for his book, "Bucky F*cking Dent". He was at the Barnes & Noble in Union Square for a book signing and discussion on April 12th.
The event began at 7 p.m. Duchovny spoke to the crowd and took audience questions as he explained the book.
In addition, Duchovny read some excerpts from the book and signed copies of the book purchased at the store. The novel tells a fictional story of a father and son bonding that culminates with an iconic real-life baseball moment from 1978.
This is Duchovny's second novel after his first, "Holy Cow: A Modern-Day Dairy Tale" was released in 2015. While his writing has been well-received, he has gained notoriety in the entertainment world by playing two notable television characters.
Duchovny starred as FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder on the "X-Files" and writer Hank Moody on "Californication". He has received seven Golden Globe Best Actor nominations and won two of the awards, one for each iconic show.
Currently, Duchovny stars in and executive produces the NBC cop drama "Aquarius". After a 13-year hiatus, he also recently wrapped on Fox with the tenth season of X-Files.
