Former SI Swimsuit Cover Model Chrissy Teigen Holds Cookbook Signing Event in Los Angeles

Despite being pregnant with her first child, model Chrissy Teigen is still finding time for her fans.  She made an appearance last week in Los Angeles to promote her new cookbook.

Teigen signed copies of "Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat" at Barnes & Noble at The Grove on Tuesday, which was also the official release day for the book.  She also made a stop in Miami on Friday for a signing. 

The 240-page book contains an eclectic grouping of recipes that Teigen has collected over time.  She is known as a food enthusiast that already had a recipe website called Delushious that the book expands on.

Teigen gained notoriety for her annual appearances in the Sports illustrated Swimsuit Edition.  She made her first magazine in 2010 and was one of three models featured on the cover in 2014. 

While she started her career in the modeling world, Teigen has used that platform to expand into other areas of entertainment.  She has been a guest TV host on several programs and became the co-host of Spike TV's Lip Sync Battle last April.

Teigen is married to R&B singer-songwriter John Legend.  She was born in Delta, Utah, but moved around growing up until settling in Huntington Beach, California as a teenager.
