Fellow celebrity chef Alton Brown did the forward for the book. Brown recants Warner's journey on Food Network Star during the forward and also praises the up and comer.
Warner has been involved in a variety of projects since the show ended. He was a co-owner of the electric restaurant, Do or Dine, in Brooklyn, New York for four years before it closed this September.
Following his Food Network Star win, he debuted a one-hour pilot special on the Food Network called Rebel Eats. Warner currently hosts a Food Network web series, Foodie Call, and makes often guest appearances on the channel.
His food industry career had humble beginnings as a waiter at The Modern. Warner amazingly has no formal culinary training, but instead gained a passion for cooking from his father.
