Devil Wears Prada Author Lauren Weisberger Holds Chicago-Area Book Signing

There is no question that author Lauren Weisberger experienced great success with her book, "The Devil Wears Prada".  She has a new book out and will make an appearance in the Chicago area tomorrow to promote it. 

Weisberger will hold a book signing for "The Singles Game" in Naperville.  The signing begins at 7 p.m. at the Hollywood Palms Cinema. 

While Weisberger autographs books, there will also be a showing of The Devil Wears Prada film.  Tickets for the event that include a copy of the book cost $27.95. 

Her writing debut in 2003 with The Devil Wears Prada made Weisberger a bestselling author.  It spent six months on The New York Times bestseller list and is considered to be loosely based on her experiences as an assistant to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. 

The film adaptation of her book was highly popular upon its 2006 release and grossed $322 million worldwide.  Weisberger has published several novels since that are often based in New York City. 

Several of Weisberger's other books have also broken through the NYT bestseller list.  In 2013, she wrote a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, "Revenge Wears Prada".
