Country Legend Randy Travis Makes Appearance Tomorrow at Stars Behind the Stars Benefit

Country music legend Randy Travis is getting behind an effort to raise money for those affected by the tragedy that recently took the lives of several Dallas police officers.  He will be making a special appearance tomorrow at the Stars Behind the Stars benefit concert. 

Stars Behind the Stars will take place at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth.  The event begins at 6 p.m. and tickets range in price from $10-$20. 

Proceeds from the concert will be directly donated to the Dallas Police Association's Assist the Officer Foundation.  Travis is the headliner on a lengthy list of guests and performers.  

Travis' place in the history of country music is unquestioned.  He has released 20 studio albums and produced 16 singles that reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country chart.  

In 1986, Travis made himself a mainstay with his debut album, "Storms of Life".  It sold over four million copies and was the first in a list of platinum and multi-platinum albums. 

Travis has won six Grammy Awards and holds a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  This year, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
