Comedian Phoebe Robinson Holds Book Signing at Kent State University

Next Tuesday, comedian Phoebe Robinson is making a special appearance at Kent State University.  She is holding a discussion and signing for her new book, "You Can't Touch My Hair: And Other Things I Still Have To Explain".  

From 5-6:15 p.m., Robinson will be at the Kent State bookstore.  In addition to the discussion, she will take questions from the audience. 

Essence, Esquire and Vulture.com have named Robinson as a comedian to watch.  She has been featured on major programs like "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and "Last Call with Carson Daly".  

Robinson has contributed as a writer to Glamour.com, NYTimes.com and Vanity Fair among others.  She has worked with MTV as a writer on "Girl Code" and consultant on "Broad City". 

Robinson currently lives in Brooklyn, New York and is a regular on the stand-up scene there.  She also writes many of her thoughts on gender, pop culture and race on her blog, Blaria.com.
