For the remainder of the month, comedian Kathy Griffin is out on the road promoting her new book. She will be signing copies and holding events for, "Kathy Griffin's Celebrity Run-Ins: My A-Z Index."
She shares hilarious anecdotes in the book about several encounters with Hollywood A-listers. The tour events kick off on Tuesday in New York City at the Union Square Barnes & Noble.
On Wednesday, Griffin will be part of a 92Y in Conversation with Joy Reid in the city. She will make stops throughout the weekend before wrapping up at the Los Angeles Times Ideas Exchange next Monday.
Griffin is one of the most recognized comedians in the world. She rose to prominence in the 1990s through her stand-up act and appearances on television shows like "Suddenly Susan."
Griffin has recorded several comedy specials for top networks, including a record 16 specials for Bravo. She was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category "Best Comedy Album" for six straight years and won in 2013.
From 2005-2010, Griffin starred in the Bravo reality series, "My Life on the D-List." She won two Emmy Awards for Oustanding Reality Program for the show.
