Despite his retirement from The Tonight Show, comedian Jay Leno stays as busy as ever.  Leno took the stage on Sunday in Thousand Oaks, California at Frank Kavli Theater.

Despite being 65 and not needing the money, Leno still performs shows all over the country.  He never stopped doing stand-up at least a couple of times a week during his 22-year run on The Tonight Show.

Tickets for the event ranged from $55-$125.  Leno already has several shows scheduled for the new year including stops in Biloxi, Mississippi, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Staten Island, New York.

In addition to his comedy act, Leno has a new outlet to share one of his other passions.  Jay Leno's Garage started airing on CNBC this fall and takes viewers inside the world of the automotive enthusiast.

Leno's illustrious career has been honored in numerous ways.  The three-time Primetime Emmy winner gained induction into the Television Hall of Fame in 2014.

Leno also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Even prior to taking over for Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, he had captured the hearts of America with his stand-up appearances on the show and various roles in TV and film.
