Comedian Craig Ferguson is back on the national airwaves. The former host of The Late Late Show is headed to cable with History Channel's "Join or Die with Craig Ferguson".
The show has an initial run of 22 half-hour episodes starting February 18th at 11 p.m. Ferguson hosts the historical debate show that features a panel of rotating celebrities and historians.
Some of the initial topics addressed include the most doomed presidential campaign, history's most influential drug, and the most influential band. Ferguson is also an executive producer on the show in addition to his hosting duties.
Ferguson previously hosted his late-night talk show on CBS from 2005 to 2014. He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 2006 and won a Peabody Award in 2009 for the show.
After working as a comedian and actor in the United Kingdom, Ferguson moved to the U.S. in 1994 and got a break as Mr. Wick on The Drew Carey Show. He eventually became an American citizen in 2008.
In addition to Join or Die, Ferguson also hosts the syndicated show Celebrity Name Game. He also takes his comedy act on the road, performing stand-up routines throughout the U.S. and Canada each year.
