Celebrity Chef Vivian Howard Begins 30 Stop Book Tour October 5th

There is no denying the popularity right now for celebrity chef Vivian Howard. Howard is set to release her first cookbook, "Deep Run Roots: Stories and Recipes from My Corner of the South".
In conjunction with the book, she is embarking on a 30-stop book tour that begins in New York on October 5th. She is doing the tour that runs through November 21st in a food truck that will serve up some of her best creations.
Many locations have already sold out of tickets for the food truck. Most of the stops that Howard will make are centered in the Southeast near her home state of North Carolina.
Howard's PBS show "A Chef's Life" has allowed her to reach a national audience. This year, she won Outstanding Personality/Host at the James Beard Foundation Awards.
The fourth season of A Chef's Life in currently on the air. In addition to the James Beard recognition, the show has also captured Peabody and Emmy awards.
Howard is a co-owner and head chef at Chef & the Farmer in Kinston, North Carolina. For her efforts at the restaurant, she is a five-time nominee for the James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef Southeast.
