Sara Moulton is a popular celebrity chef and her presence was certainly felt on Monday in Austin, Texas. She held a pair of appearances in the eclectic city to promote her new cookbook.
Moulton recently released, "Sara Moulton's Home Cooking 101: How to Make Everything Taste Better". She held a sold-out cooking class and book discussion at Central Market.
Following that event, Central Market hosted a book signing that was open to the public. Fans could buy copies of the book at the signing for $26.95.
Moulton currently hosts the public television program, "Sara's Weeknight Meals". She is a publisher of four cookbooks and pens the Associated Press column, "Kitchen Wise".
Moulton was a protege of the legendary chef Julie Child. She was also a pioneer of the Food Network, hosting several programs during the channel's early years.
At Gourmet magazine, she held several roles, eventually rising to executive chef. She has also been the "Good Morning America" food editor and is co-founder of the New York Women's Culinary Alliance.
